HEC Announces the PM’s Laptop Program will Restart

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs Shiza Fatima said that the laptop program is being restarted under which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will distribute laptops among the youth.

He said that e-employment, e-learning, laptop scheme and other programs have been worked on, about 5 lakh laptops have been distributed in 4 years and one lakh laptops will be given this year while the laptop quota for Balochistan is doubled. Apart from this, laptops will also be given to transgenders.

The Special Assistant said that according to Shahbaz Sharif, youth employment is the most important, the government has planned to provide employment to 2 million youth in a year.

He further said that all the approvals for business and agriculture loans have been done, loans above 5 lakhs will be provided on easy terms and the purpose of the loan is to promote business, children should start such businesses so that others get employment opportunities. That women will be encouraged.

Shiza Fatima said that Imran Khan had closed the sports department, it has been restored.
